Exposing My-Shelf: Shelf Two

I am notorious for being very, very particular about where my books go on my shelves. I have reasons why they’re placed where they are. They might not make sense to anyone else but they make sense to me, so that’s all that matters. Every now and then my reasons will change or there will be an influx of new books(looking at you April/May/September) that will make it necessary for the system to be tweaked. Every Friday(hopefully) I’ll be posting a picture of one shelf and explaining the reasoning behind it. By the time I’ve posted every shelf section, it’ll be time to re-arrange and start all over again.

Sorry for the glare on this one. I did my best.

Shelf contains:

The Assassin’s Blade – Sarah J Maas

Throne of Glass – Sarah J Maas

Crown of Midnight – Sarah J Maas

Heir of Fire – Sarah J Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses – Sarah J Maas

This shelf is pretty obvious. It’s my Sarah J Maas shelf. She’s one of the authors who gets her own shelf since I’m sure soon her series will take up one complete shelf. I’d guess there’s room for two more books on this shelf so depending on how many books are in the Throne of Glass series, Court of Thorns and Roses might need to find a new home eventually. I like that even though the spines of the two series are different, the Maas is at the same place on each book. It looks very symmetrical and I like it.

I’m particular about how my books are arranged too haha 😛 It can be tiring sometimes to rearrange it but the result is fulfilling! Then I spend who knows how long staring at my books 😀

  2. Pretty! I’m rather infuriated because I have a US copy of Throne of Glass, but all the other books of hers that I own are UK. I really need to buy another copy, but I can’t seem to justify it as of yet. *sigh*
