The original @ The Perpetual PageTurner. The list could change before the end of the year if I read something that should be on here in the next few weeks. The stats part will change since I’m not going to stop reading. After filling this out, I realized how many books I chose that were actually released in 2014, not just that I read in 2014. It’s been a great year for books.

Still recommending it to everyone.
Best series you started in 2014? Best sequel? Best series ender of 2014:

Sydney, Adrian, Eddie, Jill, so much fun.
I couldn’t put it down. I needed to know who would live, how it would end.
Favorite new author discovered in 2014:
This one was hard but I went with Shannon Lee Alexander. I loved the way she wove math into the plot without making it feel forced in, the characters she created, the humor she interjected.
Best book from a genre you don’t typically read/out of your comfort zone:
I usually don’t read a whole lot of horror so this was a little out there for me. The sequel has been bought so it was a successful venturing outside of the comfort zone.

Most thought-provoking/life-changing book of 2014:
This one really made me think about a lot about the different versions of yourself you show different groups.

1207 pages
Book that shocked you the most:
I was prepared for feels but there was so many twists that made the feels cut even deeper.
OTP of the year(I will go down with this ship):
Isla and Josh. And not just because Isla got her name from Prince Edward Island. Hello birthplace.

Amber and Devon. Just a great friendship.

This really was so much fun to read. Perfect way to sum it up.

I’m so impressed by you folks who can get through more than 100 books in a year! You have so many to choose from for this list. Anyway, looks like I’ve got a few extra titles to try to squeeze into the ol’ TBR list!
I added so many books to my own after going through other people’s lists. It never ends! Not that I want it to.

I love how much you loved Something Real! It was such a good book and I’m already wanting to reread it after seeing you talk about it so much. And the Ruby Circle?! I NEED IT. Cannot wait to see how that series ends.
Great responses!!
It was amazing!:)
I’m not ready for it to end:(
Oh yay, I’m so glad you loved Cynthia Hand’s new book! I’ve been curious, since it’s such a departure from her Unearthly trilogy.
And I know what you mean with Rites of Passage being super intense! I knew what I was walking into, but jeez. So brutal.
It’s definitely worth checking out if you can handle the feels.
Brutal is a good word for it. I’m excited for the author’s next book now:)
It’s so fun reading the answers to this survey, I’m discovering so many great books this way. Congrats on reading 185 pages, that’s a really impressive number. I just bought myself Something Real and I can’t wait to read it. Rites of Passage was one I never ended up finishing, I just couldn’t get into it for some reason. Snow Like Ashes is one I received for Christmas, so excited to finally get to read that one. A Thousand Pieces of You has such a gorgeous cover! I’m eagerly awaiting Re Queen too. Great answers! 🙂 I recently did my own survey, which can be found here if you want to check it out.
Yeah I added a lot of books to my TBR pile by reading others’ surveys:) I might need to find some movie/TV surveys cause those I actually need to add to my TBW list.
Oooh hope you like Something Real. Definitely one of my favourites:) Snow Like Ashes and A Thousand Pieces of You both have such amazing covers and I liked them both:)
I’m getting a little worried about reading Red Queen with all the hype going on but hopefully it’ll be good.
